The recent Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in Asia and the Ice Bar is the main stage to show case world-class cocktails by world-class mixologists. When it came to his turn, Shawn Kishore captivated the audiences with three super cool cocktails that took the Giffard Spirit of Art concept beyond advertising imagery and manifested the theme into three delicious cocktails to be made and enjoyed by anyone.

Shawn says that he was “keen to show how easy it is to make great cocktails at home”. Most people believe that you need to have an extensive list of ingredients and possess the skills of Michael Angelo to garnish the cocktail like a pro. To prove that is not the case Shawn garnished all three cocktails with dried cranberries soaked in vanilla essence, items that can be found everyday in local supermarkets. Playing with the garnish in a different way for each drink to provide contrasting aromas and textures when mixed with the different spirits.
